Have you explored psychedelics as a tool for self-healing or personal growth?
@midtsveen yes, I admit that #lsd helped me to develop more self love, confidence and to be more brave to stand up for myself.
@Nukumori @midtsveen same, although now that it's done I don't think I'll be touching that stuff again. It was a wild experience
@midtsveen in the 70s thru 90s I explored the hell out of hallucinagenics for fun and entertainment. Admittedly the only things I have tried are limited LSD. Other things I tried that claimed to open your mind simply didn't.
As a funny aside, my boss said I was the only person he knew that could smoke AAA weed and turn out solid and innovative software..code and machines have always spoken to me, I thought everyone was like that..
@midtsveen good sir you seem to have an open mind. As I have limited time left, allow me to leave you with a truth. After years of first-hand experimentation I speak with confidence of an engineer: If you look at the "symptoms" of both dementia and getting really wasted on say a Sativa with a dash of indica. Organically you can test by getting stoned and visiting Grandma at the home.
@midtsveen sorry, my brain is no friend of mine tonight. Anyway there is alot of symptoms overlap. I was struck not the sheer number of overlap but the progression is about 90%+ accurate. By that I mean if...
Apologies, LBD cycles in and out of dementia all day long. Cycling to 'stupid-mode'now...I am glad we had a chance to 'meet'.
Soon,
Jeff
@midtsveen hey sorry, I was headed to Crazy Town last night and soon could not finish sentence. To be clear, as a person with dementia, and as a person with some 50 years experience with herb, I am here to state they are nearly the same thing. For me it can be hard to see where the crazy from dementia end and being stoned on your ass begin. Alzheimers patients and their caregivers should burn a fatty, they would be amazed at how well communications with the patient improves.
@midtsveen yes but I mistreated the drugs/myself somewhere along the way and had a bad time. I think I was more interested in the feeling they provided rather than the potential for healing and found myself making some poor decisions. I never really did them in any clinical setting, always with friends (or so-called friends). Would be open to doing it with a proper professional in my presence
@midtsveen l did them, but for recreation, they did however provide personal growth.

Wow interesting result. I would have guessed higher usage.
