I have actual concerns that if the relationship with the USA gets any worse, their government might force them to killswitch the OS outside the USA.
I’m guessing that’s possible since MS is dropping offline accounts for desktops. They could simply prevent logins outside the USA, couldn’t they?
Pretty disastrous for world governments if they don’t find a workaround. I am setting up Linux systems and migrating my work to them slowly. Hit a few snags on dication, but with EU only software, hopefully the producers can create native apps if needed. Currently PlayOnLinux has most of it covered.
Anyone who believes The orange wankmuppet won’t do that, check the rules for what software is allowed to be used in countries on the USA shitlist. 😇
