@mgrondin yeah my post was just banter to yank @selea 's chain a little. Here, I've put my post in a more traditional meme image for clarity. In my original post I figured my use of emojis and meme format would make it clear that it was a soykafpost.

Do you need a DNS server without censorship and for privacy?

@digitalcourage runs a DNS server located in Germany that doesn't log normal user requests:

πŸ‘‰ 46.182.19.48
πŸ‘‰ 2a02: 2970: 1002: 0: 5054: 8aff: fe12: db49
πŸ‘‰ Encrypted requests DNS-over-TLS

digitalcourage.de/support/zens (German)

Spam, I have more of a problem with false positives these days than false negatives.
Both email that I send that gets put in junk (usually on Hotmail), and email that I receive that have been sorted to my junk folder that weren't junk. I went and checked the milter-reject logs but that was fine. (We have different thresholds for sort into junk vs reject outright.)

hosting synapse be like... and this is neither a peak nor do i have enough worker processes yet (this is not about ram)

@abloo @AzureAlmond @selea My absolute favorite:

caw -> change all word -> delete the entire word and place the cursor so I can start typing in insert-mode.

That and the dot-command (just pressing `.`) are by far the most useful "advanced" tools in vim that I use every day.

@abloo @selea @AzureAlmond

d2<down> to delete 2 lines down (and put into clipboard, like cut)

Can replace d with y (yank, like copy)

yy to yank a single line

p to paste what's in the clipboard

I despise + hate companies that says "come and try out this! it is completely free!

Oh btw, we need you creditcard"

@selea @AzureAlmond

x - delete
D - delete everything from the cursor to the end of line
dd - delete line
G - go to bottom of file
':set nu' - shows line numbers
