A few months ago Matt Lee pushed a commit to the LibreFM repo, adding CC4.0 license support, but I haven't heard of much development besides that.
I like the software, but the frontend needs work. I'd hate to call it dead!
I remember the announcement, and was sad to hear it, but he still exists and is fairly active in the Free Software world (from what I could gather, he just isn't *officially* affiliated with GNU anymore).
Actually, he came back to the fediverse as firstname.lastname@example.org, but he hasn't said too much.
Do you know why he is not associated with GNU anymore? Did something happend?
Glad to hear that he is back!
I don't know. He never said anything explicitly, but he accepted DM's for a while to talk about it. I had the opportunity but decided not to message him.
