Installed Arch Linux with xfce desktop enviroment. Took more than 3 hours to complete the whole process.
Coming from Ubuntu to Arch is kind of a big step for me. But really happy I succeded.😁

@redstarfish good stuff. First arch install is a process but I think you will like Arch. I also run Arch so if you run into something I may be able to help.

i also went from ubuntu to arch. imo, its not al big of a step as windows to ubuntu, but its still a big step considering theyre both linux. good luck with your transition

I am actually testing ubuntu for the first time since 9.04, the reason is the newly introduced ZFS support and it works perfect!

Thank you. The installation was pretty damn tough. Today, I am kind of forced to move from xfce to GNOME. Some things were not working for me in xfce, and I couldn't figure out the reasons.
But now everything is working smooth.

By the way did you see the latest ? Really like the new updates.
