If that's what you're going to call spyware, you probably shouldn't be using the Internet even with a proxy like Tor.

I agree that if "you cannot review the source" is a Russel's Teapot argument. However there is no way to prove otherwise currently, only if you can review the contents of the Discord servers (which you cannot).
In any case, if you look at the ToS it does report collecting a lot of information which should not be necessary.
