@xmakina ig having a more 'distributed' market would've prevented that, but big business does tend to cause problems

@jacethechicken I think a counterpoint to that is if a majority of consumers preferred buying long lasting phones over shorter ones capitalism would offer that. But, in the real world most consumers just act like sheep and follow whatever's given to them.

Naming something that only works on one planet "Universal Coordinated Time" was a mistake.

@bugaevc I use my firewall to differentiate between local network and yggdrasil traffic.

@LiziPancake haha same except my school admins use very common/default passwords very often so the network is extremely insecure with only basic knowledge of nmap and hydra.

I have *not* touched anything unauthorized.
Maybe.

@alcinnz intereting... does that mean I can use bitwarden instead of kde wallet or is that different?

Hopefully.

@mithrandir @ancient_domains_of_word As a student who has previously been in a school where everyone did the same thing, having some extent of personalization is really helpful to not be bored af in an easy class. Repetition can't solve people who are not interested in learning certain things, and there's no reason to slow down the people who are.

@ancient_domains_of_word @dankwraith it might be different in other places, but all accelerated programs at my school are as diverse as the school average (qualitatively, I haven't measured anything)

@hans Takes away nothing from the researcher but it might make it so the publisher's CEO won't be able to buy that third yacht. Very sad indeed.
