The Fediverse is really different some the established social medias like twitter.

Twitter is basically all about people trying to promote themselves, promote their brand or similar.

Fediverse is not about that - it is really about community, and the amount of people supporting each other emotionally, finance or just being a great person towards each other.

There is no such place that can compare to this, take care of it and each other

Did a spontaneous rewrite/reorganisation of my neovim config. Love how those things just happen on a late saturday night (continued now on sunday morning).

So, how was your easter and/or weekend? :)

look, here's the thing, i only _open_ the cans. what happens to the worms after that is somebody else's concern.

@oklomsy @wholemilk The basics gets you far. I've been using vim for 15+ years with only the basics, only started putting time into it this last 7-8 months. Probably should've done it a lot sooner but I didn't... :)

That feeling when you do a vim macro on 1) the first try 2) remember how to do a macro without looking it up

It's the small things in life, right?

json is bad, xml is bad, yaml is bad, all the modern configuration formats are awful. we should just use the openbsd configuration style

I've made an alternative frontend to Medium:

If you, like me, are occasionally forced to read articles on, now you can read them on Scribe instead! Feedback welcome.

Happy #CIDRDay, everyone!

Today in 1993, Class A, B, and C addresses were deprecated in favor of classless addresses.

If a computer person talks about Class C addresses, they are not competent

I'm liking it. The NixOS install was easy and I like the way of configuring the system.

I might try this out on my laptop.
