The Pinecil is our upcoming ~$25 RISC-V based soldering iron, powered via USB-C or the barrel plug.

It's that time of the month again -- the July 2020 Update Blog is live!
I have said we have too much news to list for several previous entries, but that's especially true today. This is the biggest update we've had yet.
Thanks to the work of Samuel Holland, crust advanced power management is now capable of running the #PinePhone for 100hrs in idle without the modem (approximately 110mW). With modem on, we should get 40% battery run-time increase (to approx 24 hrs).
