I've been running /e/ for the last day on a backup phone, and I am seriously impressed. This took almost all of the pain out of running Lineage with microG.

I'm not yet convinced about signing up for an /e/ cloud account, but at least you can self-host that stuff and do it on your own. I think I'll end up doing exactly that.
