Running Android apps on my #AlpineLinux laptop using #Anbox. I feel dirty now.

Coming soon on a postmarketOS phone near you!

Today's all about connection. Mosh has been working reliably for me as an SSH alternative. Great tool, saves a lot of hassle trying to re-connect

After using Gnome Evolution for a week, I switched back to Thunderbird. Evolution's connection seems unstable and constantly requires re-login

I did some (well, several hours actually) research on FIDO2 security keys, and decided to give SoloKey a try! Ordered 2 USB-A model, one with NFC and one without. Hope COVID-19 will not delay my shipment significantly!

Want to make a podcast? Listen to Jupiter Extras 56 with Joe Ressington where he explains the basics. He gave this as a talk at OggCamp last year. Good info for the budding podcaster.

I got my hands on the PineBook Pro today at FOSDEM, and I must say the metal casing gives it a premium feeling. Most important, the keyboard is GREAT: good travel, decent tactility, and both layouts (ANSI/ISO). Great little machine for developers and geeks. A shout out to @PINE64 great work

On day 2 of here are my trophies. The kind people at GENTOO stand helped me compiled my very own GENTOO pin!

First day of , I was observing how the developers do their computing. About half use ThinkPads, a quarter use MacBooks; most people use GNOME desktop, some use tiling windows manager. No KDE Plasma at all! And developers really donโ€™t use mouse that much, very fascinating.
