So can someone from correct me? Your is basically a bunch of dinosaurs from another era, who’s main aim is to fuck up your country against the wishes of the rest of you? Seems like a well thought out system…

That looks amazing!! Might be enough to turn me back into a Thunderbird convert!

According to , the website I'm currently working on was born on 7th Dec 1998. That is older than some web developers I know. 🧓 👴 👵 💀

Very excited to see what's in there!

Hey @HP, nice move!
Its refreshing to see a Super key on a #Linux laptop.

Certain *other* major OEMs just leave the Windows key on there and feed their users an excuse about it.

Thanks for going the extra mile. These little things matter.

Our project is funded by people like you, and we need about $130 USD for an Apple developer account and Google Play Store account to publish the :pixelfed: Live app (and eventually the main app!)

Will you help us reach that goal? The preferred donation method is our PayPal, paypal.me/dansup but you can also donate via patreon.com/dansup or liberapay.com/pixelfed

Boosts appreciated, and thank you for supporting us ❤️ #pixelfed #communityFunded

I sell coreboot, and coreboot accessories. With Debian Linux. These are secure machines, and coreboot is well-audited.

These computers are free as in freedom, right down to the boot firmware, booting linux/bsd on the bare metal:

My web shop is here:

I'm the author of osboot, the version of coreboot that comes installed. It replaces proprietary UEFI firmware, and has many advanced features that you can learn about here:

One thing that I’ve discovered about , is that compared to MacOS, using is a headache. It’s gone from ‘it just works’ to pulling my hair out. 🤯😱😭

RIP . You can’t make it up. Wow 2020’s, what have you got for us next?

It's so awesome to see this combination of hardware (and software) together! This is the HP Dev One laptop, powered by Pop OS.

Plus a System76 Launch Keyboard.

Shout out to the team at plugins@wordpress.org. They all do a great job reviewing plugins and helping idiots like me who accidentally break their own plugins. Thanks! @wordpress

Something a bit different today...

There's a really nice Fediverse admin on here called @stux who provides lots of free decentralised public services (public instances of Mastodon, PeerTube, Pixelfed, Matrix, Nitter, Invidious, Searx etc).

Stux is spending hundreds of euros a month so that these services remain free and operational.

Apparently Stux has had a tough time finding work recently, but has their own small business which provides web hosting.

If you're looking for a small indie hosting provider, this might be a really good choice as the money raised will help keep the Fedi going too:

(I'm sorry to embarass you Stux, but I think you deserve a shout-out for the good work you do!)

users, FYI there was a kernel update (5.18) during the last few days that blows up , due to lack of kernel modules. Be warned. A temporary fix is to select an older kernel in on bootup.

The fact that UK forecourt fuel thefts are on the rise, makes me wonder why it’s a news story, when the biggest thieves are the ones producing the fuel. Surely something should be done about that right?
