Software #1 needs tcp port X
Software #2 already uses tcp port X (along with 750+ other tcp ports - no joke...java .. wtf)

Solution for software #1: upgrade at least to v3.3 (I'm already running 4.10)

contacted support@software #2 to maybe shift the 750 ports a little up or down the ladder .... answer: out of office... will be back monday

*sigh*
